Fame is the spectacular color reader for Milestone 312 and 212, realized in a small Add-On. Handling is done via Milestone and is as simple as always.

Fame is not just another optical color reader. It sets new quality standards: with its very fine color resolution, Fame identifies about 400 colors and nuances. So it is the ideal tool to read colors of all kinds of objects. An integrated comparison function even helps you to assort your clothes by color. 
Besides the color reading function, Fame offers further highlights. On the one hand you have the structure recognizer. Therewith you can detect if your shirt is striped or single-colored. On the other hand you can activate the built-in light detector, which gives you information about the lighting conditions. You can therefore detect if the light is switched on in a room or where a window is located. 

Particular strengths of Fame are:
Reliable and reproducible measures, even on shiny, reflective surfaces, as well as on matt or slightly transparent ones.
Clear output, which waives fantasy names like heather violet or vermilion and instead works with easily understandable attributes, like "pale light blue" or "strong dark red with a tendency towards brown".
Interaction with Milestone enables compactness, familiarly strong voice output over loudspeakers or headphones, as well as the simple tactile panel.
